Shipping policy

Shipping Rates

  • Continental United States: We are pleased to offer FREE shipping for all our bikes within the continental United States.
  • Limited Access Areas: Additional shipping charges may apply for deliveries to limited access areas (such as islands requiring a ferry). Please contact us at info@avantbikes.com for a custom shipping quote.
  • Los Angeles Area: We provide a White Glove delivery experience within 100 miles of our headquarters, including uncrating and a personalized orientation session.
  • Alaska and Hawaii: Shipping is available to Alaska and Hawaii. Please contact us at info@avantbikes.com for a custom shipping quote.
  • International Shipping: We ship internationally. Additional charges may apply. Please contact us for details. Note that international shipments may incur customs, taxes, and import fees, which are the customer's responsibility. Delivery may be to the nearest port, requiring the customer to arrange further transportation.

Shipping Time

  • Items typically ship within 3-5 business days, depending on location.
  • The delivery timeframe can be estimated using our provided map.

Exceptions for Extended Shipping/Handling Times

  • Assembly package requests.
  • Out-of-stock products.
  • Special orders.
  • Products requiring special handling per legal/delivery guidelines.
  • Delays related to COVID-19 or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • We will communicate via email regarding any specific order details or delays.

With the Assembly Package:

  • For an additional fee, bikes can be delivered fully assembled. This includes assembly, quality control tests, and final inspection. The delivery time for assembled bikes is typically 5-10 business days after shipping.

Returns

  • Returns must be initiated within fourteen (14) days of delivery for non-defective or undamaged bikes.
  • To initiate a return, contact us at info@avantbikes.com for authorization.
  • A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns.
  • Customers are responsible for shipping and handling fees for returns.
  • Bikes must be returned in the original packaging and condition, with less than ten (10) miles on the odometer and no signs of wear and tear.
  • Non-refundable items include sale/outlet items, assembly package fees, and any applicable shipping fees.

Exchanges

  • We offer replacements for defective or damaged items. Contact us at info@avantbikes.com for assistance.

Refunds

  • Upon receiving and inspecting your return, we will notify you about the refund status. Approved refunds will be processed, excluding assembly and shipping fees.

Gifts

  • If the item was a gift, you will receive a store credit upon return. If the gift giver receives the refund, they will be notified of your return.

  • Customers cover their own return shipping costs.
  • Consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items over $75.
